Job summary

Worldpay in Cambridge is seeking an Implementation Coordinator to drive end-to-end merchant integration projects within our Ecomm team. You will coordinate cross-functional activities, manage milestones, and communicate progress to stakeholders to ensure timely delivery.

The role requires strong organisational skills, analytical thinking, and experience in payments or project coordination. You will analyse performance data and contribute to optimisation opportunities while maintaining excellent

Qualifications

• Strong organisational and coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Good analytical capability, with the ability to interpret data and identify trends or issues.
• Experience in payments, eCommerce, implementations, or project coordination preferred.
• Basic understanding of: payment processing and authorisation flows; system integrations and APIs; digital customer journeys.
• Ability to manage stakeholders across business and technical teams.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to simplify technical concepts.
• Proactive problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritise effectively in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate end-to-end implementation activities for merchant integration, and optimisation initiatives.
• Act as a central point of coordination between merchants, internal teams, and technical stakeholders.
• Track and manage implementation plans, milestones, risks, and dependencies across multiple projects.
• Analyse merchant requirements and ensure alignment with product capabilities and implementation approach.
• Assist in reviewing transaction performance data (approval rates, declines, fraud outcomes) to support optimisation opportunities.
• Coordinate execution of changes across: payment configurations, transaction routing, fraud and risk settings, integration updates.
• Work with Implementation Managers, Merchant Success Manager, and Optimisation Specialists to execute changes.
• Ensure accurate and timely communication of project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of processes, tools, and frameworks.
• Support internal and customer-facing reporting on ticket progress and outcomes.
• Build strong working relationships with merchants to ensure a positive customer experience.
• Stay up to date with payment products, platforms, and industry best practices.

What You’ll Own

• Coordinate end-to-end implementation activities for merchant integration, and optimisation initiatives.
