Job summary

Chapeltown Citizens Advice is seeking a Training and Development Manager to lead the design and delivery of training for staff and volunteers. The role is based in Chapeltown, Leeds, office based, 36.25 hours per week on a permanent contract.

You will work with two trainers to develop training plans, recruit and onboard volunteers, support project mobilisation, and ensure training meets accreditation and CPD requirements.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal skills to engage with a diverse range of colleagues and stakeholders.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to adapt, prioritise deadlines and competing tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• A genuine passion for supporting others to develop.
• Experience in training and developing staff and/ or volunteers OR experience as an adviser.

Responsibilities

• Work with two trainers to create and deliver advice first aid training for local VCSE organisations.
• Support with new project mobilisation.
• Lead recruitment and onboarding of new volunteers into the organisation & developing training plans alongside line managers.
• Supporting line managers and teams with identified areas of development required.
• Use key insights advice trends, client feedback etc) to create and deliver focused training across a range of delivery methods to ensure accessibility.
• Support the organisation to comply with accreditation requirements (AQS, SQM, QAA and others), ensuring all CPD requirements are met and mandatory training is completed.
