• Investigate complaints relating to breaches of landlord and tenant legislation.
• Manage a caseload of complex cases, based on risk and urgency.
• Gather evidence through interviews, site visits, inspections and document review.
• Prepare enforcement case files, including civil penalties and prosecution files.
• Provide clear advice to tenants, landlords and agents on their rights and responsibilities, intervening early to prevent unlawful eviction and reduce homelessness risk.
• Attend court or tribunal proceedings where required.
• Keep accurate records and contribute to service improvement.
