Job summary

Randstad UK is seeking dedicated Teaching Assistants to support KS3 and KS4 classrooms across Crosby and Sefton, helping students stay engaged and reach targets.

Experience in education, support work, or youth settings is valued. Roles include literacy/numeracy catch-ups, behaviour management, and assisting during mock exams as reader, scribe, or invigilator. Flexible long-term or day-to-day shifts available.

Qualifications

• Background in education, support work, or youth environments.

Responsibilities

• Assist subject teachers across KS3 & KS4 to keep students engaged.
• Lead targeted literacy, numeracy and subject-specific catch-up sessions.
• Utilise techniques to manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive environment.
• Act as a positive role model to boost confidence and attendance.
• Assist with mock exams as a reader, scribe, or invigilator when needed.
