Job summary

Randstad Education is seeking adaptable Teaching Assistants for Flexible placements across Primary, Secondary, and SEN settings in the United Kingdom. Roles include supporting EYFS/Primary readers and maths, assisting GCSE prep in secondary, and delivering 1:1 support in SEN environments.

Choose your setting and schedule: full-time, part-time, or flexible daily supply shifts. Competitive daily pay between £85 and £110, paid weekly via PAYE with no umbrella fees.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with children or young people (gained in schools, nurseries, care work, sports coaching, or youth work).
• A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to learning and pupil development.
• Strong communication skills with good foundational literacy and numeracy.
• An Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (or a willingness to apply for one).
• The right to work in the UK and reliable transport links across Insert Location.

Responsibilities

• Because we collaborate with a variety of schools, your daily tasks will vary based on your preferred setting.
• Primary Mainstream: Provide essential classroom support, lead guided reading/maths groups, and assist with EYFS-KS2 development.
• Secondary Mainstream: Offer subject-specific classroom assistance, implement effective behaviour management strategies, and support pupils with GCSE preparation.
• SEN & Specialist Support: Deliver 1:1 or small group work tailored to pupils with Autism (ASD), ADHD, SEMH, speech delays, or complex physical needs.
