Job summary

Randstad UK is seeking experienced education support professionals to assist teachers across Key Stage 3 and 4 in Southport area. You will run literacy and numeracy catch-up sessions and help keep students engaged in a busy school setting.

Roles suit those with TA/HLTA experience or SEN background. We offer flexible long-term placements, weekly PAYE pay, and opportunities to advance through CPD courses and referrals.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Teaching Assistant, HLTA, LSA, or Cover Supervisor.
• Background working with neurodivergent youth or in care settings is a plus.
• Experience supporting 11-16-year-olds in schools or youth work

Responsibilities

• Assist subject teachers across Key Stage 3 & 4 classrooms.
• Lead targeted literacy and numeracy catch-up sessions.
• Manage classroom behaviour and support disengaged or vulnerable students.
• Support mock exams, reader/scribe/invigilator duties when needed.
