Job summary

Randstad Education is seeking enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to support young learners across local schools in England. Flexible and supply roles, ideal for graduates, childcare backgrounds, or sports coaching, with long-term and day-to-day opportunities to suit your lifestyle.

Responsibilities include supporting teachers, working 1:1 or in small groups to boost literacy and numeracy, assisting pupils with SEN, and creating an inclusive, safe learning environment for all students.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with children or young people.
• Patient, empathetic and proactive approach to learning support.
• Strong communication skills and a good command of English and Maths.
• Right to work in the UK with reliable transport to local schools.

Responsibilities

• Support classroom teachers with daily lesson delivery and classroom management.
• Work 1:1 or in small groups to boost literacy, numeracy and confidence.
• Assist children with SEN (e.g., ASD, ADHD, speech delays).
• Create an inclusive, safe and encouraging learning environment.
