Job summary

Onward Homes seeks a Scheme Manager for the Liverpool Stanley Terrace Housing with care development. You will oversee day-to-day management, coordinate maintenance and health and safety compliance, and support residents to live independently.

This permanent full-time role requires excellent organisational and communication skills. The role offers generous holiday entitlement, a pension scheme, health cash plan and flexible working options.

Qualifications

• Experience of dealing with older people in a service environment.
• Experience of building management and compliance requirements.
• Knowledge of Health and Safety policies and risks.
• Ability to work on your own initiative as part of a dispersed team.
• Skilled communicator with excellent customer service.
• Experience of working proactively to improve services and customer satisfaction.
• IT skills – Microsoft Office up to intermediate level.
• Satisfactory DBS reference.

Responsibilities

• Provide intensive housing management services to sheltered housing tenants.
• Respond to tenant and scheme emergencies.
• Provide residents with regular contact and Personal Emergency Evacuation Plans (PEEPS).
• Ensure health and safety compliance and maintain scheme logbooks.
• Coordinate liaison with health and social care providers and agencies.
• Communicate with neighbours, relatives and the wider community.
• Oversee day-to-day building management and repairs reporting.
