Job summary

Minster Law Ltd seeks a Serious Injury Paralegal in Wakefield to support fee earners in managing a portfolio of serious injury claims. You will draft letters via ProClaim, handle telephone inquiries, and maintain precise case records while hitting KPIs.

Regular travel to client meetings and multidisciplinary teams is expected. The role offers structured progression through the Paralegal Progression Programme, with opportunities to develop within Legal Services and participate in training

Qualifications

Commitment to delivering excellent client care.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Accountable for achieving objectives in a fast-paced environment and maintaining high standards.
Competent with a case management system and Microsoft Excel/Word.
Good attention to detail and strong organisational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

Assist lead file handlers in progressing serious injury caseloads.
Produce standard free form letters to progress cases using ProClaim.
Use the telephone as a primary contact method and manage enquiries.
Maintain and update the case management system and filing systems.
Schedule appointments for the Fee Earner and liaise with Finance on disbursements.
Contribute to the smooth running of the firm by supporting colleagues during peak periods.
Meet KPI targets with guidance from line manager.
Perform other reasonable administrative duties as required.
