Job summary

Sue Ross Legal are working with a leading legal services provider in Wakefield to recruit a Serious Injury Paralegal. You will support lead file handlers in progressing serious injury caseloads. The role offers a mixture of office and remote working, with a minimum of two days a week in the Wakefield office. Applicants with experience in litigation areas such as RTA or housing are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting serious injury cases, including high-value files (£150k+).
• Strong client care and professional communication.
• Excellent attention to detail and high-quality work output.

Responsibilities

• Progress cases using Proclaim and draft standard letters.
• Obtain and review medical records for file progression.
• Collate evidence for assessments and manage deadlines.
• Answer calls from Fee Earners and respond to inquiries.
• Meet monthly KPIs and support other staff during peak periods.
