Job summary

Targeted Provision is recruiting SEND tutors and teachers to work with Local Authorities and schools in the UK, delivering Maths, English, or Science tuition to SEND and SEMH learners.

Roles are flexible and may be in person, online, or hybrid, with self-employed status and opportunities across the country. Candidates should have QTS/QTLS, 2+ years of teaching experience, and an enhanced DBS. We welcome diverse backgrounds and are committed to safeguarding.

Qualifications

• Experience: 2+ years teaching, ideally with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or PMLD in a trauma-informed way
• Subjects: Familiarity teaching English, Maths, and/or Science
• Qualifications: QTS / QTLS
• Compliance: Enhanced DBS and 2+ professional references
• Location: UK-based with right to work (remote allowed)
• Safeguarding: Knowledge of safeguarding and safe learning environment

Responsibilities

• Provide in person, online / remote, and hybrid Maths, English, or Science tuition to children and young people with SEND/SEMH needs
• Support pupils from KS1 to KS5 with trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring
• Plan and report lessons and provide regular progress feedback
• Contribute to raising the standard of education for SEND and SEMH needs
