Job summary

Targeted Provision Ltd is seeking SEND Tutors and Teachers in the UK to deliver Maths, English, or Science tutoring in-person, online, or via hybrid formats. You will support students with SEMH/SEND needs, plan lessons, and provide progress feedback.

The role is self-employed and flexible, with opportunities to work with schools and local authorities. Candidates should have 2+ years of teaching experience, QTS/QTLS, and an Enhanced DBS.

Qualifications

• 2+ years teaching experience, ideally with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, or PMLD.
• Familiarity with teaching English, Maths, and/or Science.
• QTS or QTLS certification (or willingness to obtain DBS with help).
• Enhanced DBS and 2+ professional references.
• UK-based with right to work; safeguarding knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person, online/remote, and hybrid Maths, English, or Science tuition to children and young people with SEMH and SEND needs.
• Support pupils from KS1 to KS5 as appropriate by planning and delivering trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring.
• Plan and report lessons and provide regular feedback on student progress.
• Contribute to a mission to raise education standards for young people with SEND and SEMH needs.
