Job summary

Targeted Provision is seeking SEND tutors and teachers in the UK to deliver Maths, English or Science tuition to young people with SEND/SEMH needs. Roles are offered on a self-employed basis with flexible in-person, hybrid, and online teaching opportunities.

Applicants should have at least 2 years of teaching experience, QTS/QTLS, Enhanced DBS, and the right to work in the UK. We promote a trauma-informed, pupil-centred approach and provide CPD and mentoring.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of teaching experience, ideally with SEND, SEMH, or related needs.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS).
• Enhanced DBS verification and 2+ references.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person, online or hybrid Maths, English, or Science tutoring to learners with SEND/SEMH.
• Plan lessons, deliver trauma-informed tutoring, and monitor progress.
• Report on student progress and communicate with local authorities or schools where applicable.
• Support vulnerable learners and adapt to flexible schedules.
