Job summary

Targeted Provision seeks SEND Tutor/Teacher in the Reading area to deliver Maths, English, or Science tuition to young people with SEND and SEMH needs. You will work in-person, online, or hybrid, supporting pupils referred by local authorities and schools.

The role requires 2+ years teaching experience and QTS/QTLS, with enhanced DBS and two references. Flexible, self-employed opportunities offered across the UK.

Qualifications

• 2+ years teaching experience, ideally with SEND/SEMH/MLD/SLD/PMLD.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or QTLS) required.
• Enhanced DBS and 2+ professional references.
• Based in the UK with right to work.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person, online/remote, and hybrid tuition in Maths, English, or Science.
• Support KS1–KS5 pupils referred by local authorities and schools.
• Plan and report lessons with regular progress feedback.
• Contribute to safeguarding and create safe learning environments.
