Job summary

Targeted Provision is seeking SEND Tutors and Teachers to support disengaged and vulnerable learners across the UK. You will deliver Maths, English, or Science tuition in person, online, or hybrid formats, with flexible hours to fit your schedule and a trauma-informed approach to learning.

The role emphasizes safeguarding, DBS support, and collaboration with local authorities to raise educational outcomes for young people with SEND and SEMH needs.

Qualifications

• 2+ years teaching experience, ideally with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, or PMLD.
• QTS/QLTS required to teach in the UK.
• Enhanced DBS check (we can assist) and 2+ references.
• UK right to work, including remote/online teaching.

Responsibilities

• Provide in person, online, and hybrid Maths, English, or Science tuition to pupils with SEND/SEMH needs.
• Plan and report lessons with regular feedback on progress.
• Deliver trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring to KS1–KS5 as appropriate.
• Support a safe learning environment and collaborate with local authorities and schools.
