Job summary

Targeted Provision is seeking SEND Tutors and Teachers in the UK to support learners with SEND and SEMH needs. Roles involve in-person, hybrid, and remote teaching across maths, English, or science.

You will work flexibly as a self-employed tutor, planning lessons, tracking progress, and delivering trauma-informed tutoring to disengaged and at-risk young people in partnership with local authorities and schools.

Qualifications

• 2+ years teaching experience with SEND/SEMH
• QTS or QTLS qualification
• Enhanced DBS (facilitated if needed) and 2+ professional references
• UK-based right to work (including remote/online roles)
• Knowledge of safeguarding and creating a safe learning environment

Responsibilities

• Provide in person, online/remote, and hybrid Maths, English, or Science tutoring to children and young people with SEND/SEMH needs
• Plan and report lessons; provide regular feedback on progress
• Deliver trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring tailored to individual needs
• Support pupils referred by local authorities and schools across KS1–KS5 as appropriate
