Job summary

Targeted Provision is seeking SEND Tutors and Teachers to transform the learning journey of disengaged and vulnerable learners across the UK. Roles include Maths, English, or Science tutoring with in-person, hybrid, or remote options.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of teaching experience, QTS/QTLS, safeguarding knowledge, and the ability to work flexibly as a self-employed tutor. This role emphasizes impact, mentorship, and community support.

Qualifications

• 2+ years teaching experience, ideally with SEND/SEMH/MLD/SLD/PMLD in a trauma-informed approach.
• Subjects: English, Maths, and/or Science.
• QTS / QTLS required.
• Enhanced DBS and 2+ professional references.
• Based in the UK with right to work, including for remote/online roles.
• Knowledge of safeguarding and creating a safe learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person, online/remote, and hybrid tuition to children, teens, and young people with SEND/SEMH needs.
• Support pupils from KS1 to KS5 with flexible, trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring.
• Plan and report on lessons and provide progress feedback.
• Contribute to raising standards for SEND learners in collaboration with local authorities and schools.
