Job summary

Targeted Provision is recruiting SEND Tutors and Teachers in the United Kingdom to support young learners with SEND and SEMH needs. Roles include Maths, English, or Science tutoring with flexible hours and various work arrangements.

We welcome applicants who are passionate about transforming disengaged and vulnerable learners' lives. This self-employed opportunity offers in-person, hybrid, or remote teaching with CPD and mentoring support.

Qualifications

• 2+ years teaching experience with SEND/ SEMH/ MLD/ SLD/ PMLD
• Familiarity teaching English, Maths, and/or Science
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or QTLS) required
• Enhanced DBS clearance and 2+ professional references
• UK-based with right to work; safeguarding knowledge essential

Responsibilities

• Provide in person, online/remote, and hybrid Maths, English, or Science tuition to learners with SEMH and SEND needs
• Support pupils KS1–KS5 by planning and delivering trauma-informed tutoring
• Plan and report lessons and provide regular progress feedback
• Contribute to raising standards of SEND education and SEMH support
