Job summary

Targeted Provision is recruiting SEND Tutors and Teachers in the UK to support children with SEMH and SEND needs. The role offers in-person, hybrid, and remote teaching options to empower disengaged and vulnerable learners.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of teaching experience, QTS/QTLS, and a passion for transforming lives through flexible, trauma-informed instruction across Maths, English, or Science.

Qualifications

• 2+ years teaching experience, ideally with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or PMLD in a trauma-informed approach.
• Familiarity with teaching English, Maths, and/or Science.
• QTS or QTLS certification and safeguarding knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person, online/remote, and hybrid Maths, English, or Science tuition to children and young people with SEND/SEMH needs.
• Plan, deliver, and adapt tutoring to KS1–KS5 levels with trauma-informed approaches.
• Plan and report lessons, providing regular progress feedback to pupils and local authorities when applicable.
• Contribute to raising standards of SEND support and inclusive education.
