Job summary

Targeted Provision is seeking SEND Tutor and Teacher to help engage disengaged learners across the UK, delivering Maths, English or Science to children and young people with SEMH and SEND needs.

You can work in-person, hybrid, or remote, with part-time or flexible hours, and join a supportive team with CPD, mentoring, and a referral programme.

This self-employed role invites experienced educators who are committed to trauma-informed education and safeguarding to make a real difference.

Qualifications

• 2+ years teaching experience, ideally with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, or PMLD in a trauma-informed approach.
• QTS or QTLS qualification.
• Enhanced DBS and two professional references provided.
• Based in the UK with right to work; safeguarding compliance and basic background checks.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person, online, and hybrid Maths, English, or Science tuition to learners with SEMH and SEND needs.
• Plan lessons and report progress with regular feedback.
• Support vulnerable learners and collaborate with Local Authorities and schools.
• Create safe learning environments with safeguarding awareness.
