Job summary

Targeted Provision is seeking SEND Tutors and Teachers to transform lives in the community. The role offers in-person, hybrid, and remote teaching opportunities for Maths, English, or Science to support students with SEND and SEMH needs.

We value passion for helping disengaged and vulnerable learners, with self-employed engagement and flexible hours from part-time to full-time as opportunities arise.

Qualifications

• 2+ years teaching experience, ideally with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or PMLD in a holistic and trauma-informed way
• Familiarity teaching English, Maths, and/or Science
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS / QTLS)
• Enhanced DBS and 2+ professional references
• Based in the UK with the right to work, including for remote/online roles
• Knowledge of safeguarding and creating a safe learning environment

Responsibilities

• Provide in person, online / remote, and hybrid Maths, English, or Science tuition to children, teenagers, and young people with SEMH and SEND needs
• Support pupils referred by local authorities and schools by planning and delivering flexible, trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring
• Plan and report for lessons and provide regular feedback on student progress
• Support the mission to raise education standards for SEND and SEMH needs
