Job summary

Targeted Provision is seeking SEND Tutors and Teachers in the UK to work with schools and local authorities, delivering Maths, English or Science to disengaged and vulnerable learners. Roles are self-employed and offered with flexible, hybrid, or remote options.

Applicants should have 2+ years of teaching experience, experience with SEND/SEMH and a valid QTS or QTLS, plus an Enhanced DBS and references. Join a child-centred organisation dedicated to transforming lives.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of teaching experience, ideally with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, or PMLD in a trauma-informed setting.
• Familiarity teaching English, Maths, and/or Science.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS).
• Enhanced DBS and 2+ professional references are preferred.
• You must be based in the UK with the right to work, including for remote roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person, online/remote, and hybrid Maths, English or Science tutoring to learners with SEND/SEMH needs.
• Plan and deliver flexible, trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring for KS1–KS5.
• Plan and report lessons and provide regular progress updates.
• Support the mission to raise education standards for SEND and SEMH students, including those with MLD/SLD/ PMLD.
