Job summary

Targeted Provision is seeking SEND Tutors and Teachers to work in schools and with local authorities across the UK. This self-employed role offers in-person, hybrid, and remote teaching options to support disengaged and vulnerable learners with SEND/SEMH needs.

You will deliver Maths, English, or Science tuition across KS1–KS5, plan lessons, and provide progress reports within a supportive, trauma-informed framework. Flexible hours help balance personal schedules while making a meaningful impact.

Qualifications

• 2+ years teaching experience with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, or PMLD in a trauma-informed approach.
• Familiar with delivering Maths, English, or Science.
• Compliance with safeguarding and DBS processes.
• UK-based candidate with right to work and references.

Responsibilities

• Provide in person, online / remote, and hybrid Maths, English, or Science tuition to children and young people with SEND/SEMH needs.
• Plan lessons and report progress, with regular feedback to pupils and stakeholders.
• Support KS1–KS5 learners referred by local authorities and schools with flexible, trauma-informed tutoring.
• Contribute to raising standards of education for SEND and SEMH needs within the community.
