Job summary

Protocol Education Ltd is recruiting SEN Support staff for a welcoming secondary school in the United Kingdom. The role is full-time and long-term, with 1:1 or small group support for KS3/KS4 pupils, focusing on those with SEND. The position runs five days a week, with a daily PAYE rate of £95–£110.

You will work closely with the SENCO and teaching staff to provide calm, structured support, helping pupils stay focused and engaged, and contributing to a positive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting young people with SEND in schools or similar settings.
• A calm, confident approach to behaviour and strong communication skills.
• Commitment to full-time, long-term availability.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 support for pupils with SEND
• Run small group interventions
• Support students with autism, ADHD, SEMH, or additional learning needs
• Work closely with the SENCO and teaching staff
• Help create a safe, structured learning environment
