Job summary

Prospero Teaching is seeking experienced and enthusiastic Secondary SEN Teachers to join specialist SEN schools near Tamworth on a long-term basis. You will deliver engaging, differentiated lessons for students with a range of additional needs and collaborate with TAs, SENCOs, therapists, and other professionals to provide holistic support.

Applicants must hold QTS/QTLS (or equivalent) and have experience teaching SEND.

Qualifications

• QTS/QTLS or equivalent essential for appointment.
• Experience teaching children or young people with SEND, ideally in specialist SEN settings.
• Strong understanding of Autism, ADHD, SEMH, and other additional learning needs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, differentiated lessons to secondary students with SEND.
• Collaborate with Teaching Assistants, SENCOs, therapists, and other professionals to support learners.
• Assess, monitor and record student progress, and contribute to reviews and reports.
• Maintain high expectations of behaviour, engagement, and safeguarding.
