Prospero Teaching is currently seeking a dedicated SEN Secondary / Post-16 Teacher to join a specialist provision supporting young people with additional needs preparing for adulthood, further education, and independent living. This role focuses on delivering engaging, differentiated lessons to learners aged 11-19 with autism, MLD, SLD and SEMH needs.

• Qualified teacher with QTS/QTLS or equivalent.
• Experience teaching in SEN, secondary or FE settings.
• Understanding of Autism, learning difficulties and SEMH needs.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.

Aufgaben

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons for SEN learners aged 11-19.
• Support students with EHCPs and learning targets.
• Develop communication, independence, and life skills.
• Prepare learners for further education, employment and adulthood.
• Collaborate with support staff, therapists and parents.
• Monitor progress and maintain pupil records.
