Job summary

Brandon Trust is seeking a Response Team Support Worker to join our Cornwall team. You will provide flexible, compassionate care across all services in West Cornwall, with a requirement to complete a full training package and gain the Care Certificate.

Successful applicants will be adaptable, proactive and able to empower the people we support to live the lives they want. A full UK driving licence and access to a car are required, and you will work shifts including on-call weeks.

Qualifications

Good communication skills are essential.
Positive and patient approach is required.
Be resilient and respectful of people’s differences.
Ability to build professional relationships and work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

To empower the people we support to live the lives they want to lead.
To develop daily living skills.
Support the people we support to access their communities for socialisation, employment, training or friendships.
To contribute to, develop and implement the individuals care plans.
To communicate effectively and professionally with people we support, their family members, and external professionals.
Maintain the health needs of the individuals we support.
A driving licence is essential for this role.
