Job summary

The Cornwall Day Opportunities team within Salutem Care and Education is looking for a dedicated Support Worker to provide person-centred care to adults with complex needs across residential services in Cornwall. You will support daily living, promote independence, and help people engage in education, employment, volunteering, and community activities.

This role requires empathy, reliability, and a proactive attitude, with shifts including days, evenings, nights, and sleep-ins to suit service

Qualifications

• Compassionate, reliable and proactive individual.
• Provide person-centred support in daily living activities.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, sleep-ins as required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver tailored support meeting physical, emotional, social and mental health needs.
• Encourage independence and participation in education, employment and community activities.
• Administer and manage medication safely.
• Follow PBS strategies and promote least restrictive practices.
• Maintain accurate records and daily notes.
