Job summary

Brandon Trust in Roche, Cornwall, is seeking a Female Team Leader to join our social care team on a part-time basis. The role covers 17.5 hours per week with an hourly rate of £16.33–£17.31, delivering confident, visible leadership to a team providing person-centred support.

You don't need previous Team Leader experience; the post is open to experienced Support Workers in social care who can lead, coach and inspire others while upholding safeguarding and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in social care and readiness for a leadership role
• Experience in supervisory or leadership role within social care
• Strong communication, organisation and decision‑making skills
• Ability to lead, motivate, coach and inspire others
• Understanding safeguarding, quality and compliance
• Reliable, flexible and resilient
• Full UK driving licence – desirable
• Has a relevant social care qualification, or is willing to work towards one

Responsibilities

• Lead, support and develop a team of Support Workers
• Provide day-to-day leadership, supervision, coaching and guidance
• Coordinate rotas and ensure safe staffing levels
• Promote positive outcomes and help people achieve goals
• Support safeguarding, quality and regulatory compliance
• Work flexibly alongside the team and provide hands-on support
