Serco is seeking a Progression Job Coach to support Restart Scheme participants in Birmingham. You will provide one-to-one coaching, develop tailored action plans, and help people gain confidence and employability skills for sustained employment.

The role requires strong interpersonal skills, experience in coaching or mentoring, and the ability to manage a caseload in a target-driven environment. DBS check is required, with a focus on safeguarding and contract compliance.

Qualificações

• Experience in coaching, mentoring or supporting individuals into employment or education.
• A genuine passion for helping people succeed and making a positive difference in communities.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and influence others.
• Experience working in a target-driven or performance-focused environment.
• Excellent organisation and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Confidence using IT systems and maintaining accurate, high-quality records.

Responsabilidades

• Manage a caseload of participants, guiding them through the full Restart journey from engagement through to sustained employment
• Deliver one-to-one coaching, needs assessments and tailored action plans to address barriers to work
• Provide practical employability support including CV writing, job applications, interview preparation and job search techniques
• Build strong, trust-based relationships with participants, motivating and supporting them to achieve their goals
• Work with employers and internal teams to identify opportunities and match participants to suitable roles
• Maintain accurate records and ensure full compliance with contract requirements and customer service standards
