Job summary

Bedspace Outreach is seeking an Outreach Support Worker for Cheshire, a part‑time role based in Chester. You will support young people and adults, promoting independent living skills and assisting with education, employment, and wellbeing.

A driving licence and business-use vehicle are essential. The role covers the Chester area with travel across the Cheshire region and requires safeguarding knowledge and a willingness to work across 16+ clients.

Qualifications

• Must hold or work towards NVQ Level 3 Health and Social Care.
• Thorough safeguarding knowledge of vulnerable adults and children.
• Travel across the North West region is essential.
• Computer literate with MS 365.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of service users in the Chester area.
• Liaise with Social Workers, Healthcare practitioners, DWP and Police.
• Write detailed reports assessing service users' independent living skills.
• Complete weekly inspections of service users' properties.
• Support access to education and employment opportunities.
