Job summary

Bedspace is seeking a Residential Youth Support Worker in Chester. You will support young people to gain independence, work with ASDAN modules, and help develop life skills, budgeting, tenancy support, and wellbeing. A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle with business insurance are essential.

Salary £34,375.24 per year, including sleep-in payments, with a £500 welcome bonus. The role requires empathy, resilience, and experience with trauma-affected or challenging young people.

Qualifications

• Experience working with young people with complex needs in social care.
• Knowledge of safeguarding vulnerable children and adults.
• Must have legal right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Provide tailored support to young people to develop essential life skills.
• Assist with educational, health, and welfare needs and access to resources.
• Maintain accurate records and reports of service users’ progress.
• Help young people manage daily tasks and appointments.
• Contribute to a safe, supportive environment through regular communication.
