Job summary

Clancy is looking for a Planner in the United Kingdom to turn work requests into clear, achievable plans that guide our operational teams. You will connect customers, operations and systems to define what needs to happen, when and how, in a fast-paced environment.

You'll coordinate planning and permit activity, translate requirements into precise instructions, and monitor progress from start to finish, ensuring on-time delivery and customer satisfaction in a growing utilities business.

Qualifications

• You have experience working in a busy, fast-moving environment where priorities change and decisions need to be made quickly.
• You’ll be highly organised, confident communicating with a wide range of people and comfortable using IT systems to manage work and data. A customer-focused mindset is essential, along with the ability to stay calm, focused and proactive when juggling multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Planning and scheduling work for operational teams using a range of systems
• Translating requirements into clear, accurate work instructions
• Monitoring jobs from start to finish, tracking progress and updating systems
• Acting as a first point of contact for operational teams, helping to resolve issues quickly
• Liaising with colleagues and customers to manage expectations and priorities
• Raising, processing and closing traffic management, footway and road closure notices and permits
• Making sure all planning and permit activity is completed accurately and on time
