Job summary

The Clancy Group is hiring a Planner to turn work requests into clear, actionable plans that guide our operations. You’ll coordinate with customers, field teams and systems to define what, when and how work should happen, keeping essential stakeholders aligned.

In a fast-moving utilities environment you’ll stay organised, communicate confidently, and resolve issues quickly, ensuring planning and permits are completed accurately and on time.

Qualifications

• Experience in a busy, fast-moving environment with changing priorities.
• Strong organisational and prioritisation abilities.
• Confident communication with diverse stakeholders and IT proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Planning and scheduling work for operational teams using a range of systems.
• Translating requirements into clear, accurate work instructions.
• Monitoring jobs from start to finish, tracking progress and updating systems.
• Acting as a first point of contact for operational teams, helping to resolve issues quickly.
• Liaising with colleagues and customers to manage expectations and priorities.
• Raising, processing and closing traffic management, footway and road closure notices and permits.
• Making sure all planning and permit activity is completed accurately and on time.
