Job summary

Senploy, on behalf of a welcoming primary school in Enfield, is seeking an Interventions Teaching Assistant to join their team. This full-time, temp-to-perm role supports pupils with targeted interventions to raise attainment and confidence.

The school serves children aged 2-11 as part of the Attigo Academy Trust and has a Good Ofsted rating with Outstanding in Behaviour, Personal Development, and Early Years.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering interventions in EYFS and Key Stage 1.
• Strong knowledge of phonics and early literacy development.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patient, nurturing and proactive approach.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting welfare of children.

Responsibilities

• Deliver targeted intervention programmes across Reception, Year 1, and Year 2.
• Support literacy, phonics, reading, writing and numeracy development.
• Work with individuals and small groups to accelerate progress.
• Monitor and report pupil outcomes and engagement.
• Collaborate with teachers and leaders to implement tailored support plans.
• Help build pupils' confidence, independence and enthusiasm for learning.
