Job summary

Senploy is seeking an enthusiastic EYFS Teaching Assistant for a welcoming primary school in Enfield. You will support children in the early years, assist the class teacher, and help create a safe, engaging learning environment.

Ideal candidates have EYFS or early years experience, excellent communication and teamwork, and a proactive, reliable approach. The role offers full-time hours with a view to permanent placement and great experience for aspiring teachers.

Qualifications

• Have previous EYFS, nursery, childcare, or school-based experience.
• Be patient, caring, and enthusiastic.
• Have strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Be confident supporting young children's learning and development.
• Understand safeguarding and child wellbeing.
• Be reliable, proactive, and able to use their own initiative.

Responsibilities

• Supporting children within an EYFS / Reception setting
• Assisting the class teacher with daily classroom activities
• Supporting children with early literacy, phonics, numeracy, communication, and social development
• Helping set up creative and play-based learning activities
• Supporting pupils on a 1:1 and small group basis
• Encouraging positive behaviour, routines, and independence
• Supporting children during transitions, snack times, outdoor play, and classroom activities
• Helping to maintain a safe, clean, and nurturing learning environment
