Peabody is seeking a proactive Housing Support Worker to assist adults experiencing homelessness in temporary accommodation at Basildon, Essex. This part-time role is 21 hours per week within a fixed-term contract.

It is not a personal care position, and prior experience in casework, tenancy support, advice or advocacy is preferred. You will help tenants maintain their tenancy, develop independent living skills, and connect clients with health and welfare services.

Qualificações

• Experience in a casework, tenancy support, advice, advocacy, or similar support role (paid or voluntary).
• Excellent communication and organisational skills with a collaborative approach.
• Ability to build effective relationships with customers and partner agencies.

Responsabilidades

• Provide practical and emotional support.
• Develop and review support plans and goals.
• Work with partner agencies including health services and local authorities.
• Maintain accurate records and case notes.
• Support move-ins, sign-ups and low-level housing management activities.
