Job summary

St Petrocs in Penarth? Actually Penzance is the location. We are seeking a Homelessness Support Coordinator to work with clients who are rough sleeping or at risk. You will undertake intensive assessments, advocate for clients, and help access housing and services.

You’ll work mainly at the Breadline Centre, supporting move-on residents and coordinating with partner agencies. Some evenings/weekends and a winter service role are possible; driving is required.

Qualifications

• Experience working with vulnerable adults.
• Understanding homelessness issues and services.
• Full driving licence and access to own vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Provide a welcoming, safe, supportive drop-in presence; respond to client needs and refer onward.
• Build professional relationships with clients to identify and achieve housing, training, and wellbeing goals.
• Assist clients with benefits, housing, health and other factors affecting homelessness.
• Assess needs and develop personalised support and safety plans.
• Coordinate with partner agencies to ensure timely and appropriate services.
