Job summary

Petrus is seeking a Homeless Prevention Support Worker in Rochdale to assist with the Ending Homelessness in Communities Fund Project. You will provide trauma-informed, person-centered support to those experiencing homelessness, rough sleeping, or at risk of losing their home.

Through outreach, hub-based services and partnerships, you will help clients access accommodation, welfare benefits, healthcare and community resources, supporting them to overcome barriers and achieve sustainable

Qualifications

Compassionate, proactive and resilient with homelessness support experience.
Strong communication and engagement to build trust with clients.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage a varied caseload.
Experience of outreach, tenancy support, homelessness, housing, welfare or community settings is desirable.
Knowledge of accommodation options, benefits and support services in Rochdale is desirable.

Responsibilities
