Job summary

Roche Diagnostics UK is seeking a Field Service Engineer to ensure uptime of molecular, tissue and serum diagnostic systems across the UK field region. The role includes on-site service, preventive maintenance, and remote diagnostics to support Roche’s customers.

You will join a field-based team delivering technical training, handling complex faults, and maintaining regulatory documentation while building strong customer relationships and driving service excellence.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering (HNC/HND acceptable).
• Extensive experience in the IVD industry with strong technical support track record.
• Excellent analytical ability and advanced troubleshooting under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Provide electro-mechanical hardware support and training at customer sites.
• Troubleshoot faults, perform preventive maintenance, and generate efficiency reports.
• Deliver customer training and guidance on Roche diagnostic systems.
• Maintain compliance documentation and regulatory records.
• Build relationships with stakeholders to align service and sales objectives.
• Participate in internal reviews to drive service excellence.
