Job summary

Roche Diagnostics seeks a Field Service Engineer for the South Region (Exeter, London, Kent) to ensure uptime of Roche’s diagnostic systems across customer sites. You will use on-site and remote tools to diagnose electro‑mechanical faults, perform preventive maintenance, and deliver training to customers.

• Degree or equivalent in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering (preferred).
• Extensive experience in the IVD industry delivering technical support.
• Strong analytical skills, troubleshooting expertise, and ability to work under pressure in a collaborative team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver electro‑mechanical hardware support including routine proactive and reactive tasks and technical training.
• Perform troubleshooting and fault resolution, preventive maintenance, and generate reports to improve efficiency.
• Provide technical training and guidance to customers on Roche diagnostic systems.
• Maintain administration and regulatory documentation to ensure compliance and efficient service delivery.
• Build relationships with peers and key stakeholders to align service and sales objectives.
