Paragon Social Care Limited is seeking an experienced Children’s Residential Support Worker in Crook to provide high-quality care and supervision to children and young people in a specialist residential home. You will help create a safe, nurturing environment and support them to develop skills and confidence to thrive.

Qualificações

• Experience in Children’s Residential Care or similar settings is desirable.
• Ability to build positive relationships with children and young people.
• Clear communicator, patient, resilient and calm under pressure.
• Understanding of safeguarding, risk assessments and care plans.
• Full UK driving licence is desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Provide day-to-day care, support and supervision to children and young people.
• Support children and young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD).
• Build positive, trusting and professional relationships.
• Offer emotional support, reassurance and positive role modelling.
• Promote positive behaviour through consistent boundaries and relationship-based care.
• Support young people during routines, activities and everyday life.
• Carry out welfare checks in line with care plans and risk assessments.
• Respond to incidents, challenging behaviour and safeguarding concerns.
• Maintain accurate records, daily logs, reports and handovers.
• Work with colleagues, managers and external professionals.
• Maintain a safe, secure, clean and welcoming home environment.
• Complete household duties where required.
• Support morning and evening routines.
• Follow safeguarding, child protection and health and safety procedures.
• Work in line with Children’s Homes Regulations and organisational policies.
