Job summary

Paragon Social Care is recruiting for a Children's Residential Support Worker in Wisbech, Cambridgeshire. The role focuses on providing high-quality care in a specialist children's residential home, supporting safety, wellbeing and emotional needs during shifts.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team, following care plans, safeguarding procedures and regulatory standards to ensure outstanding levels of care for each young person.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children and young people (EBD desirable).
• Ability to promote safety and well-being in a residential setting.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Support children and young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD).
• Promote a safe, caring and nurturing residential environment.
• Carry out welfare checks in line with care plans and risk assessments.
• Respond to safeguarding concerns and emergencies.
• Maintain accurate daily records and handovers.
• Support morning routines and light household duties.
