Job summary

Paragon Social Care is seeking a dedicated Children's Residential Support Worker to join the Wisbech team in Cambridgeshire. You will support children and young people in a residential home, following care plans and safeguarding procedures to promote safety and wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people in residential settings.
• Ability to follow safeguarding procedures and care plans.
• Strong communication and record-keeping skills.

Responsibilities

• Support children and young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD).
• Promote a safe, caring and nurturing residential environment.
• Maintain accurate daily records, reports and handovers.
• Respond appropriately to incidents, safeguarding concerns and emergencies.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, managers and external professionals.
