Axcis Education is recruiting a Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant to work with pupils aged 11-16 with additional needs at a Preston secondary school. The role is available full-time or part-time, with hours 8:30am–3:30pm, Monday to Friday, and on-site parking is available.

Transport links from Preston city centre are provided. Candidates should have an Enhanced DBS (update service) or be willing to obtain one, plus at least 6 months of relevant experience or a qualifying credential.

Qualifications

• Enhanced DBS check on the update service
• 6 months of relevant experience OR a relevant qualification
• A genuine desire to make a difference to young people’s lives

Responsibilities

• Support pupils in lessons and assist the teacher
• Deliver engaging activities and monitor pupil progress
