Job summary

Sporting Assets in Leeds is seeking a Finance & Loan Operations Manager to join the Impact Investment Team. This is a full-time role based in our Leeds office with a minimum of two days in-office; part-time applications at a minimum of 30 hours per week will be considered.

Occasional travel to London may be required. You will oversee day-to-day bookkeeping in Xero, prepare management accounts, manage banking, loan schedules and direct debits, and refine our in-house Claude AI reporting system to

Qualifications

• Accounting training (AAT, ACCA or CIMA) or equivalent
• Proven bookkeeping and management accounts preparation experience
• Hands-on experience with Xero
• Experience in loan administration, repayment schedules or direct debit collections preferred
• Experience in social lending, fintech or impact finance
• Experience in a small or scaling business

Responsibilities

• Bookkeeping and management accounts across multiple entities
• Banking & treasury management across entities
• Sub-ledger management: sales, purchase, expenses
• Maintain loan repayment schedules & direct debit collections
• Refine in-house reporting system (Claude AI) and drive process improvements
