Job summary

Sporting Assets in Leeds is seeking an Investment Manager to join the Impact Investment Team. The role is based in our Leeds office with a minimum of two days in-office; part-time applications may be considered.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years’ experience in social investment, impact investment, corporate finance, management consultancy or related field with exposure to investment processes and fund management.
• Investor relations experience including managing relationships with institutional and impact investors, producing investor reports and fund updates, and responding to investor queries.
• Experience producing high-quality investor materials (pitch decks, memoranda, impact reports) for institutional audiences.
• Ability to support investor negotiations, including drafting and reviewing term sheets and investment agreements, liaising with legal advisors.
• Understanding of due diligence processes (commercial and legal) and reviewing documents and structures relevant to social investments.
• Strong financial and commercial skills, including rigorous due diligence, business plan assessment, financial modelling and Investment Committee recommendations.
• Strong writing capability and presentation skills.
• Analytical and numerate, proficient in MS Office and financial modelling.
• Understanding of business finances and profitability drivers.
