Job summary

Oxford Immunocore, a pioneering biotech, seeks a Scientist - Infectious Diseases to advance the ImmTAX platform and other modalities for chronic infections (HIV/HBV/EBV). You will plan and execute experiments, analyze data, and contribute to cross-functional projects across drug discovery and development.

The role requires a PhD in a relevant field or an MSc/BSc with substantial bench experience, with proficiency in molecular biology techniques and cell culture.

Qualifications

• PhD in molecular biology, cell biology, genomics, virology, immunology or related field.
• 0–2 years related experience (or MSc/BSc with significant bench experience).
• Experience with molecular techniques and cell culture is essential.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design and execute experiments to support project goals and timelines.
• Perform molecular and cellular analyses to advance the pipeline.
• Analyse data, interpret results and propose next steps.
• Present findings at internal meetings and collaborate cross-functionally.
