Job summary

Oxford Immunocore is seeking a Scientist - Infectious Diseases to contribute to the development of therapies using the ImmTAX platform. You will work in a matrixed team to plan and execute experiments, analyze data, and present findings in internal meetings.

The role requires a PhD in a related field or substantial bench experience, with proficiency in molecular and cellular techniques and a focus on HIV/HBV/EBV biology. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• PhD in molecular biology, cell biology, genomics, virology, immunology, or related discipline with 0-2 years of related experience.
• Alternatively, a BSc or MSc with significant work experience in relevant scientific areas.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design and execute experiments to support development of Infectious Diseases programs.
• Perform molecular and cellular assays including NextGen sequencing, ddPCR, PCR, qPCR, and cell-based assays.
• Analyze data, interpret results and communicate findings to cross-functional teams.
• Present results at internal meetings and engage with colleagues across Research and other departments.
