Job summary

NHS Professionals is seeking a Children's Immunisations Administrator to support school immunisation programmes across multiple community locations in Oxfordshire, including Wantage, Abingdon, City, Didcot, Banbury and Bicester. This temporary post runs for 3–4 months with potential extension.

You will coordinate vaccination clinics, manage records, process consent forms and liaise with schools, parents and healthcare staff to ensure smooth clinic delivery.

Qualifications

  • Must have a full UK driving licence.
  • Experience in administrative roles within healthcare, education or customer service.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office applications and database systems.
  • Ability to prioritise workload and work effectively as part of a team.
  • Commitment to delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

Children's Immunisations Administrator

Location: Community role across various locations such as Wantage, Abingdon, City, Didcot, Banbury & Bicester - please apply even if you can only work at some of these locations

Hours: Up to 37.5 hours per week Monday - Friday 8.30am - 4.30pm

Trust: Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust

Role type: Temporary for 3 - 4 months with possibility of extension

Role details

As a Children's Immunisation Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting the efficient delivery of school-aged immunisation programmes. Working closely with clinical teams, schools, parents and healthcare professionals, you will ensure accurate administration and coordination of vaccination clinics across multiple community locations in schools.

Duties & responsibilities
  • Managing immunisation records and maintaining accurate patient data.
  • Processing consent forms and clinic documentation.
  • Liaising with schools, parents, carers and healthcare professionals.
  • Ensuring compliance with NHS policies, data protection and confidentiality requirements.
  • Supporting immunisation teams to achieve programme target
